Self-controlled tapes are designed to maintain the temperature of metallic tanks and pipes in dry or damp conditions. Because of their automatic temperature limitation, theself-controlled tapes are suitable for controlling temperature variations of the pipes, thus often dispensing with a regulation system and preventing the risk of damage by overheating in case of overlapping. Easy to install, they can be cut on site to the required length. Network connection and interconnection between cables can be achieved very quickly, thanks to plug-in connectors.
Tapes type 26153 - 26173 are suitable for protection against freezing up to about 10°C, the tapes 26183 - 26184 to maintain the temperature of running water pipes (autolimitated at 60°C maxi) and thetapes type 26154 - 26174 are suitable for pipes tracing up to 60°C (autolimitated at 110°C maxi).Composed of two parallel copper power supply braids, potted in a conducting material whose resistance increases with the temperature, this of course decreases the emitted heat quantity.
Voltage : 230 V single phase.
Maxi powered length : 26153 and 26173 = 200 m, 26183 and 26184 = 60 m, 26154 and 26174= 60 m.
